Most Venerable Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George.
It is announced that on the occasion of the Feast Day of the glorious Saint Andrew the First-Called of the Apostles, the Feast Day of the Throne of the Great and Holy Church of Christ, on the 29th of November and at 17:00, Great Vespers will be held in the Most Venerable Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George. His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will officiate. On Tuesday, 30th November, a Patriarchal and Hierarchal Divine Liturgy will be held, with the participation of representatives of the Autocephalous and Autonomous Orthodox Churches, on the occasion of the transmission of the Holy Relics of our Holy Fathers Among the Saints, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom, from Rome to Istanbul.
His Eminence Metropolitan John of Pergamon, Academician, will give the homily.
On this occasion, there will be an official Delegation of the Church of Rome, as every year, under the leadership of His Eminence, Cardinal Walter Kasper, President of the Pontifical Council for the promotion of the Christian Unity.
