
On 8 June 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Pentecost at the Patriarchal Church, concelebrated by Their Eminences Metropolitans, Meliton of Philadelphia, Irenaios of Myriophyton and Peristasis, Chrysostomos of Myra, Nikolaos of Philippopolis — Hierarch of the Church of Bulgaria —, Nektarios of Anthidon, Representative of the All-Holy Sepulchre in Constantinople, Ioakeim of Prussa, and Theodoros of Seleucia.
Following the Divine Liturgy, His All-Holiness presided over the Vespers of the Holy Spirit, during which Their Eminences Metropolitans of Philadelphia, Philippopolis, and Anthidon read the Kneeling Prayers.
In attendance were His Grace Bishop Eumenios of Lefke, The Hon. Consul, Mr. Theofilos Georgakis, representing the Consul General of Greece in Istanbul, The Hon. Consul Mr. Andrij Boiko, representing the Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul, The Hon. Mr. Dimitrios Kouvelas, Member of the Hellenic Parliament, The Hon. Messrs. Ivan Petleshkov and Radomir Cholakov from Bulgaria, and the Hon. Archon of the Ecumenical Throne, Mr. Dimitrios Yotef, President of the Bulgarian-speaking Community of Istanbul, along with Archons of the Ecumenical Throne and a great number of faithful from the city and abroad.
