On the evening of June 23, 2015, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew traveled by plane to Geneva, where in the morning of Thursday, June 25, 2015, he underwent an angiogram at the Cantonal University Hospital of Geneva. By God’s grace, the results were very satisfactory and the Patriarch will depart from the hospital tomorrow. Among the physicians who treated His All-Holiness was the esteemed Professor Auxentios Kalangos, Archon Ostiarios of the Great Church of Christ.
On Saturday, June 27, 2015, His All-Holiness will meet at the Ecumenical Center in Geneva with His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece, who graciously traveled there in order to convey his personal best wishes for the health of His All-Holiness.
Accompanying Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew are the Very Reverend Grand Archdeacon Andreas, Archon Hartophylax Panteleimon Vingas, and the personal physician of His All-Holiness in Istanbul Jan Klod Kayuka.
God willing, His All-Holiness will return to the Phanar on Sunday, June 28, 2015.
