On Thursday, 19 June 2025, H.E. Mr Nuri Aslan, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul, paid an official visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, where he was warmly received by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Present at the meeting were associates of the Deputy Mayor, as well as, on behalf of the Mother Church, His Grace Bishop Paisios of Xanthoupolis and other officials of the Patriarchate.
